Studying bass, piano and music theory as a kid, I was always fascinated by the way sound and music affect us humans so profoundly. When I went on to pursue a career as a sound engineer and session musician, this fascination turned into a way of life.

I got my first hands on experience as a professional sound engineer for live events already at 18 and went on to serve as as sound engineer in the IDF music groups and theater department.

Following my service, I went on to study audio engineering in Pluto Studios, where I gained further experience recording and mixing, and won the 1st prize in Safari Pedals' 2023 mixing competition.
 

Over the years, I got to work with musicians from a range of different backgrounds: from indie musicians on the start of their careers to some of Israel's most famous pop musicians. At times acting as an audio engineer and at times as a session musician.

Later on, I also expanded into other fields:

• Offering post audio editing services for films presented in international festivals.

• And working as a podcast recording, editing and mastering engineer locally and abroad.

Sound engineering and session playing often seem like two distinct sides of the same coin:
One field being mostly technical while the other being mostly creative.
Doing both, I find that my professional career is also full of contrasts.
 

As a sound Engineer:

• My main focus has always been acoustic music.

• However, as the years went by, I got to work with pop musicians, and even with some DJs.

• Eventually even straying from music to work as a sound engineer for film and podcasts.
   

My diverse experience had made me an expert in navigating the indie and alternative music spheres, in which songs often don't fit into one specific genre.
 

As a bass and latin percussion player:

• I grew up around the sounds of Latin music and continued on to the adjacent path of Jazz education.

• However, in my professional career, I was often hired by pop and rock musicians.
   

I think it is due to my distinct background that these artists often praise me for adding that little "extra spice" to their music productions.
