I'm based in Israel, where I studied studio engineering in the luxurious "Pluto Studios".
Following my graduation, I won the 1st prize in Safari Pedals' 2023 mixing competition.
Over the years, I got to work with some of Israel's most well-known artists, as well as some lesser-known, but just as talented, independent artists.
Some notable names include: Noa Kirel, Mergui, Lihi Toledano, Eden Meiri, Yeled, Sharon Mansur, Allan Tune, Shaked Miller, Blueberry and HaZe'ev.
Later on I also expanded into other fields:
-
Recording, and post editing films presented in international festivals.
-
And working for podcast networks locally and abroad.
Sound engineering and instrument playing often seem like two distinct sides of the same coin:
One field is mostly technical while the other is mostly creative.
As someone who does both, I appropriately find that my professional career is also full of contrasts.
As an Engineer:
-
My number one focus was always acoustic music.
-
However, as years went by I got to work with more and more pop artists, and even DJs.
My diverse experience had made me an expert in navigating the "hybrid" or "alternative" sphere of music which doesn't really fit any single genre.
As a Bassist and Percussionist:
-
I grew up around the sounds of Latin music and continued on the adjacent path of Jazz education.
-
However, in my professional career, I often found myself playing with pop and rock musicians.
I think it is due to my distinct background that these artists often praise me for adding that little "extra spice" to their works.
If you read this far and think I could be the right guy to navigate your sound, or give you this extra spice, hit me up and let's bring your vision to life!
